Dean of Instruction

Rebecca Guest has served as an English instructor at Vienna High School for the last 19 years and will be taking on the role of Dean of Instruction formerly held by Kathy Anderson.
The Dean of Instruction role was developed several years ago with the goal of capturing additional funding for the school and community via grants and various other funding sources. Over the last several years this role has brought in additional funds and resources in excess of $10 million. Additionally, this role has also served to successfully implement improvements to institutional practices and career readiness for students.
Mrs. Guest holds a bachelor’s degree in English secondary education from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and will be working on her Master of Arts in Education in Educational Administration and Leadership at McKendree University. She and her husband Jonathan reside in Vienna, and they have two daughters and a son.
