3 year varsity letterwinner in basketball and 4 year letterman in baseball.
Became 1st father-son duo to enter Hall of Fame with father, Brad Davis.
Outstanding shooter in basketball, hitting 49% from the field his Senior year, scoring 482 points.
Scored 1128 points in his career, including 103 3-point shots.
Helped lead team to basketball Regional Title in 2005 and baseball Regional Titles in 2005 and 2006.
Hit .479 his Senior year and had 4 year career batting average of .362 with 112 hits and 78 RBI's.
Voted schools Most Valuable Athlete in 2005-06.

Derek Trovillion
Class of 2008
4 year varsity letterman in baseball and basketball.
Voted schools Most Valuable Athlete 2006-07.
Major contributor in team winning 2 Regional Titles in basketball and 2 in baseball.
Scored 924 points with 158 3's (All-Time Leader), had 325 rebounds and 258 assists during basketball career.
One of top hitters in VHS history hitting .407 and .438 in back to back seasons of 06 and 07.
Had 4 year career batting average of .404 with 156 hits, 24 home runs and 149 RBI's.
As a pitcher, recorded a 29-13 record with 311 strikeouts in 257 innings.
Received scholarships to play in college at John A. Logan and Southern Illinois University.

Charles N. Crews
Class of 1963
MVP in basketball for 1962 and 1963 while leading team in scoring and rebounding.
Only player in VHS history to record 30-30 game- 30 points and 30 rebounds vs. Mounds City.
Holds top 4 single game rebound totals with 2 games of 30.
Had 39 point, 25 rebound game vs. Carterville.
Scored 972 points and had 735 rebounds (4th All-Time) during high school career.
Scored 493 points Senior year.
Holds single season rebound record with 396 in 1963.
Named to All-State team in 1963 by Chicago Paper.
Received scholarship to Mississippi State University where he started a majority of their games his Sophomore thru Senior years.
