Most Valuable Athlete and MVP in baseball and basketball 1973.
Played on only undefeated regular season boys team and coached only undefeated regular season girls team.
Coached basketball 21 years and softball for 19 years (both longest all-time)
His teams had a combined won-loss record of 1007-395.
His softball and basketball teams won 54 tournament titles and won 24 conference championships.
His teams won 20 Regional championships and 4 Sectional championships.
Softball teams finished 4th in State in 1993 and 3rd in 1994.
Elected to Illinois Coaches Association Softball hall of Fame in 2006.
Served as Athletic Director 2004-2010 and oversaw the restart of football at VHS.

Tori Webb-Hettinger
Class of 2007
4 year varsity letter winner in basketball and 3 years in softball.
Basketball team won 77 games including 2006 Regional Title.
Started on softball Regional Title teams in 2006 and 2007 and had career .286 batting average.
Scored 1578 points (2nd all-time) and had 769 rebounds (3rd all-time).
Had 138 blocked shots (2nd all-time).
All-Conference 2 years in basketball and named to All-South team senior year.
Received basketball scholarship to Shawnee College.
