Led softball team in hits, RBI's, & homeruns senior year.
Played on state tourney teams that finished 3rd and 4th in State.
Played on undefeated regular season basketball team 93-94.
Scored 1030 points in basketball career.
Played softball in college at Wabash Valley, Shawnee, and Mid-Continent College.
Led NCCAA in batting in 2001 with .554 average.
VHS varsity girls coach 2010-2013 winning 99 games.

David Carlton
Class of 1978
VHS Most Valuable Athlete in 1977-78.
Led team to final 4 finish at State tourney in baseball in 1978.
Still co-holds single game stolen base record in Class 2A State tournament with 3 in 1978.
Hit .354 in 132 games for baseball career with 53 stolen bases.
Hit 22 homeruns in career which was school record at the time.
Scored 921 points in 3 varsity seasons in basketball.
Recorded 205 steals in basketball career.
