Student Support Team

The Vienna High School Student Support Team works to ensure that all students are receiving equitable, meaningful, and comprehensive wrap-around services in the areas of academic support, social-emotional support, behavioral health, medical care services, and post-secondary career planning. As stated in our district mission statement our primary goal at Vienna High School is to “graduate active, self-actualized 21st century citizens who will be caring, career-directed, value-oriented individuals, competent in communications and problem solving.” To ensure that we are fulfilling our responsibility to our students and community, we must meet all needs of all of our students so that they have the best possible opportunity to reach their full potential.

Our team is comprised of several individuals within our school that sit in various roles that all work with our students to help provide support. The Vienna High School Student Support Team includes our team lead, building principal, two school nurses, LCSW, school social worker, two social work support staff, guidance counselor, SRO, truancy officer, and JAG coordinator. We also invite in teachers from both special education and regular education to participate in our weekly meetings. Our team works together to form interventions and plans for individual students, as well as working with our school MTSS team to make improvements in our school systems.
