Mr. Bink has been in the educational field for the past 22 years and has been working at the Regional Office of Education #21, for the last 18 years. He has worked as a 6-8th grade teacher, lead teacher, assistant principal, and currently as Truancy Coordinator and Director of Health Life Safety for the ROE. He leads the team of truancy interventionalists in four Southern Illinois counties which serves 58 school buildings. He also works with local school administrators on school safety and new school construction projects. Mr. Bink enjoys working with the MTSS team, along with other outside partners, to help provide a comprehensive level of support to the students of Vienna High School.

Ms. Blaylock is a Johnson County native and a graduate of Vienna High School. Following her years as a student at Vienna she went on to complete her Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science from East Carolina University, followed by earning her Associates Degree of Nursing from Carteret Community College in 2012. Ms. Blaylock brings 8 years of experience working as a nurse in Psychiatric and Behavioral Health. Throughout her nursing career she has worked with different ages and medical conditions in a variety of settings, such as a residential facility, a large inpatient hospital, and an outpatient clinic.

Mrs. Bundren is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's Degree in Social Work and an emphasis in School Social Work from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.  She has worked as a school social worker for over 25 years and has worked with Vienna High School students since 2002. She primarily works with students struggling with daily life struggles, depression, anxiety, trauma related issues, and career/ academic planning. 

Mrs. Goddard is a part-time School Social Worker at Vienna High School and New Simpson Hill.  She graduated from SIU with her Master’s Degree in School Social Work.  She has been working as a School Social Worker for almost 18 years.  At Vienna High School she provides services and interventions to students in need.  She also helps students with their career path, seeking employment, and/or job shadowing. She has been a resident of Johnson County her whole life and loves being able to work at the same high school she attended.

Mrs. Hammond has a BSW and certifications in Forensic Interviewing. She worked several years for a local CAC interviewing children who were suspected of experiencing traumatic events. She is a child advocate, and passionate about preventing childhood trauma. Mrs Hammond has taught Life Skills, Erin's Law, and Darkness to Light training throughout Southern Illinois school districts and organizations. At Vienna High School, Mrs. Hammond is part of our social work department, where she provides interventions to students in need. 

Ms. Johnson, originally from Indiana with strong family ties in rural Southern Illinois. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Ms. Johnson brings a robust work experience with her to include Mental Health Counseling, State Social Worker and JAG Specialist in addition to Educator. She has worked with Vienna High School students since 2017 through various student centered projects and programs. Although Ms. Johnson's title has changed over the years; her focus to help youth in overcoming barriers, strengthening skills and developing a viable plan for student success both inside and outside of the school has never changed. 

Officer Manley completed his degree at Southeastern Illinois College and graduated in 1990 with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Law Enforcement. From 1992 until 2019 he worked for the Metropolis Illinois Police Department. He was certified as a SWAT officer, a field supervisor. He worked as an Evidence Officer and Fleet Manager. In 2019 he was hired by the Vienna Police Department and assigned to Vienna High School as a School Resource Officer. He was certified as an SRO by the National Association of School Resource Officers. In 2020 at the request of Vienna High School he became certified as a CTE Instructor for Criminal Justice and began teaching at the High School.

Mrs. Manley graduated from Murray State with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work in 1999 from Murray State University. After graduation, she started working with the Cabinet for Health and Family Services for the State of Kentucky, and continued working there for 22 years. For the first 14 years, she was a front line worker. She worked with families in the homes and she worked with foster parents. For the last 8 years I worked as an Adoption Coordinator for the State of Kentucky. She retired from the State of Kentucky in 2022, and took a position with the Student Service Department here at Vienna High School. She serves as the McKinney Vento Liaison, and helps identify students and families who are displaced from their homes. In addition, I help with the truancy cases, Eagles Extra Closet, and I provide check ins and check outs as needed.

Mrs. Slife currently serves as the School Counselor and School Psychologist for Vienna High School.  Her responsibilities include a variety of tasks. In the role of School Counselor, these tasks include supporting all students with their career and college goals through course selection, readiness, grades, and tasks needed to be completed as they continue on through their high school career.  She works directly with our local community colleges through our dual credit/dual enrollment programs.  In the role of School Psychologist, she administers academic and cognitive assessments to help determine the best placement and programming for students. 

Mrs. Smith brings the experience of a real life practitioner to the students.  As a Johnson County native she is a graduate of Vienna High School and a successful alumnus of its nursing program. Following her years as a student at Vienna she went on to complete her RN credentials at Shawnee Community College and her BSN at McKendree University.  Mrs. Smith brings 19 years of an exemplary nursing career to the table which includes service as surgery manager at Massac Hospital moving on to Lourdes Hospital as the clinical supervisor over same day surgery and manager over the Pain Management Center followed by service at Union County Hospital as the director of the medical/surgical floor.
